Free up your Google storage — without deleting anything

Google gives every account 15 GB of free storage shared across Gmail, Drive and Photos. When it fills up, Google blocks new emails and files. Instead of deleting your data or paying for Google One, GTransfer moves your Drive files to Mega.nz or Drime — giving you up to 40 GB of free extra cloud storage with a single one-time payment of £19.

Why Google storage fills up

Google's 15 GB free tier is shared across three separate services: Gmail (emails and attachments), Google Drive (files and documents), and Google Photos (photos and videos). Most people don't realise these all draw from the same pool — so even if your Drive looks empty, a large Photos library or years of email attachments can silently consume your entire allowance. When it runs out, Google stops delivering new emails and blocks any new files from being saved.

The usual options — deleting files, paying £1.99/month for Google One, or doing nothing — aren't satisfying. GTransfer offers a fourth option: move your files somewhere else, for free, with a one-time payment.

Frequently asked questions

Will moving files to Mega.nz delete them from Drive?
Not automatically. GTransfer copies your files to Mega.nz or Drime first. Once you've confirmed the transfer completed successfully, you can delete the originals from Google Drive to free up your storage.
What happens to my Google storage after I transfer?
Once you delete the transferred files from Google Drive, that storage is immediately freed up. Your Google account will stop showing the "storage full" warning and you'll be able to receive emails and save new files again.
Is £19 really a one-time payment?
Yes — completely. No monthly fees, no annual renewal, no hidden charges. Pay £19 once and the Pro transfer features — including Mega.nz and Drime — are yours permanently.
